Mark Lammerding is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened around the world at major festivals including: Cannes, Dances With Films, HollyShorts, Sidewalk Film Festival, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, New York, San Jose, Palm Springs, Costa Rica, Italy and more. Upon graduating with honors from UCSC, his senior thesis narrative film premiered at the LA Shorts Fest, and won several awards from prestigious film competitions. After moving to Los Angeles, Mark began a career in post-production; editing commercials, music videos and documentary films; before transitioning to creative development in scripted and branded entertainment. Mark has directed several short narrative films and music videos, as well as branded content and fashion films with high profile talent. His narrative shorts have won accolades from the Best Shorts Competition, YoungCuts, IndieFest Global Film Awards, Global Shorts and Palm Springs. He was also a finalist the fourth season of HBO’s Project Greenlight.
His latest short film Yogurt (which he wrote, directed, DP’d, edited and scored) had its World Premiere at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, where it was selected as part of a special curated Top Global Shorts showcase.
In 2018, Mark was selected as one of the Shots Awards '2018 Rising Stars Under 30', a prestigious selection of the Top 20 young creatives on the rise in the film industry. Click to view shots.net profile
